The fifth wave is still happening, and getting more brutal. You still can't trust anyone, but the ragtag group of teens that managed to survive are trying to trust each other and keep each other alive through the madness.


I actually liked this book more than the first one??? Almost every other one of my friends on here seemed to hate this one, but after ~140 pages it really picked up for me. I ended up reading the last 100 pages in one sitting (which is difficult for my adhd brain to do). 

The character development with some of the characters were amazing. The writing was a bit plain, but I was still in love with this book.

I love love love Ringer's storyline, and I'm so excited to read more in the next book. I'll definitely pick up the next book at some point.
